Administration

Town Administrator

Ross Holshouser

   The Town Administrator plans, organizes, manages, directs and implements the goals and objectives of the Mayor and the Town Board. Services provided are accomplished through department heads who manage operational details. Duties include short and long range planning, creating and articulating a vision of excellence for the organization, establishing human resource management systems that staff the organization with productive employees, budgetary direction and guidance, capital improvement planning and working closely with the Board on major initiatives and priorities. Also serves as Budget Officer, appointed by the Board.

 
Town Clerk


Whitney Mackey

   Appointed by the Town Council, the Town Clerk attends all meetings of the council and records official actions. The Clerk also acts as custodian of all legal documents pertaining to the Town, prepares and distributes the Council agenda, administers oaths of office, and serves as notary public for the Town.

Customer Services Representative/Utility Billing Clerk


Bridgette Rowell

   Assist Town Administration in day to day duties. Receives and enters customer payments for Utilities, Cemetery Plot Purchases, Park Shelter Rentals, and other Town business.

 
Special Projects Manager


Larry Branch

   Aides Town Administration in the application of Grants and implementation of Special Projects. Includes projects in all departments, Water and Sewer, Parks and Recreation, Public Safety and Streets.

 

   The Oakboro Town Hall houses both the Clerk's Office and the Police Department. Contact the clerks office for items concerning streets, streetlights, water and sewer issues, water or sewer bills and garbage collection. You can also contact the clerks office to purchase cemetery lots (click here for fees) and inquire about business/privilege licenses.
